On a clear evening, Dec. 17, 2014, our little town was breeched by a band of raucous agitators. It was “Puente,” an inner-city, anti-law group with Salvador Reza, the supreme leader. Determined, as always, on a mission to defame Sheriff Joe Arpaio, his department, his deputies and law-abiding citizens.
With only Mayor Linda Kavanagh of the Fountain Hills Town Council in attendance, “Puente” began an obnoxious, but obvious, political display of booing, shouting and fear-mongering.

Has Fountain Hills lost her innocence?
On a clear evening, Dec. 17, 2014, our little town was breeched by a band of raucous agitators. It was “Puente,” an inner-city, anti-law group with Salvador Reza, the supreme leader. Determined, as always, on a mission to defame Sheriff Joe Arpaio, his department, his deputies and law-abiding citizens.
With only Mayor Linda Kavanagh of the Fountain Hills Town Council in attendance, “Puente” began an obnoxious, but obvious, political display of booing, shouting and fear-mongering.
Our mayor stood firm, but where were the other six? Unified support by our elected officials would demonstrate unified support for Sheriff Arpaio. Where were the other six representatives of Fountain Hills residents?
As to the “over the top” antics led by community organizer Reza, who is paying his salary and does he declare this information on his taxes? As such a pliable tool for social progressives, should he not receive some attention from the government, say as much as the Tea Party for defending the Constitution?
You called the statement by Lina Bellenir a “mindset.” What Ms. Bellenir stated was truth. The residents of Fountain Hills have a strong moral compass, believe in the Constitution and law and order.
Reza, your “mindset” is sinister and dangerous. You hope to scare us into compliance with your objectives. Listen up? We stand firmly with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the job he is doing to uphold the Constitution, justice and the rule of law.
