Sonoran Conservancy of Fountain Hills is hosting stargazing hike under the first quarter of the moon on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Vicky Derksen of Night Sky Tourist and the Fountain Hills Dark Sky Association will lead the hike along with SCFH Board Member Janice Holden. The event is at the Adero Canyon Trailhead from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
There may be the opportunity to view a planet or two from the solar system as well as identify constellations far out in the galaxy.

Preregistration for the hike is through the Town of Fountain Hills at fountainhillsaz.gov/recreation. Register for course # 2152.
