The State Bar of Arizona has dismissed complaint charges against former Town Attorney Aaron Arnson, filed by Town Councilmember Gayle Earle on Aug. 25, 2025.
The decision was made following an investigation into events that took place surrounding Arnson’s departure from service with the town in early 2025 and, while the State Bar dismissed the complaints, an “educational comment” was offered concerning professional obligations on Arnson’s part.
“I respect the Arizona State Bar’s review and appreciate that my complaint was taken seriously and formally reviewed,” Earle said. “While I had hoped for a stronger outcome, I value that the process was independent and that my concerns were considered. This official review also reinforces for me the importance of accuracy and professionalism in public statements by attorneys, which I believe benefits both the town and the community.”
