State of the County is Sept. 19

Maricopa County Supervisor to present in Fountain Hills

The State of the County is set for Thursday, Sept. 19, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Community Center, welcoming Maricopa County District 2 Supervisor Thomas Galvin as the guest speaker.

Galvin plans to provide an overview of the county including topics ranging from fiscal strength and responsibility, public safety, economic development and growth, housing and transportation, a press release read.

The State of the County is part of the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce FH Connect Breakfast series, a networking event for local professionals, residents and business owners.

Galvin is one of five elected district board supervisors who approve a budget that allocates money to all departments and elected offices in Maricopa County. He currently serves as the board vice chairman.

The price to attend is $45 (Chamber members receive a $10 discount).
