We had two “Cecil Yates for Mayor” signs in our front yard. They disappeared Sunday afternoon.
I am disappointed that supporters of Cecil’s opposition would stoop to that level. If they did, it actually was counterproductive. The signs have been replaced, we have made another contribution to Cecil’s campaign and we are telling everyone about the theft.
And we are urging everyone we know to vote for Cecil. We have two good candidates for mayor, but we really like Cecil. He is highly qualified and is a true gentleman. And Cecil’s supporters aren’t out stealing his opponent’s signs.
