Having recently been the victim of someone running a red light, I would like to briefly go over the meaning of stop signs and red lights.
Stop signs mean just that; stop. Not slow down. Not slide through or ignore. It means stop.
Red lights mean just the same as stop signs.
Hardly a day, somewhere in Fountain Hills, goes by without seeing someone ignore these signs.
With all my heart, I’m asking each of you, before you injure yourself or someone else – or worse, kill someone – please, please do as the signs say and stop. Those few seconds could save a life – maybe yours.
