Street lights go up at Avenue, Saguaro

Light install

Preparing lights

When work was completed on the Avenue Plaza it was determined that new street lights should be installed at the Avenue of the Fountains and Saguaro Boulevard. The objective is to make the intersection safer for pedestrians during evening and after dark events.

Infrastructure for the lights was installed during the Saguaro Boulevard reconstruction and early this week the new lights were raised in place.

Council funded the project with money from the downtown improvement fund.
