Work began Monday at the north end of town on Fountain Hills Boulevard near the Middle School.

Streets getting new seal coat

Monday, Oct. 14, contractors began work on the final phase of pavement management in Fountain Hills for the current fiscal year.

The project includes putting a micro-surface seal coating within Zone 7, which involves the major arterial streets within Fountain Hills.

Work began Monday at the north end of town on Fountain Hills Boulevard near the Middle School.

Work continues on Fountain Hills Boulevard today and tomorrow, Oct. 16 and 17, between Fayette Drive and Ironwood.

Crews will be working on Palisades Boulevard between Sunflower Drive and Palomino Boulevard on Oct. 18 and 21.

Next week on Oct. 22 and 23 work will be done on Eagle Mountain Parkway and on Fountain Hills Boulevard from Shea to Kingtree boulevards.

The schedule for Oct. 24 and 25 will have crews working on Palisades between Palomino and Shea.

Work is scheduled to conclude on Oct. 28 and 29 on Fountain Hills Boulevard between Kingstree and Ironwood and Palisades Boulevard between Saguaro and Fountain Hills Boulevard.

Crews are scheduled to work between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The project will last four weeks depending on weather.

Motorists are urged to use caution and obey traffic signs during the work. There will be one lane open in each direction.
