Strong conservatives

I was sorry to see that District 6 U.S. Rep. David Schweikert was featured in an ad I saw online with none other than Martha McSally. McSally has a record of being anti-Trump and far more in line with Senators McCain and Flake. However, miraculously now that she’s running for the US Senate, she “supports” the president!

Didn’t we hear Senators McCain, Murkowski and Collins tell us that we need to repeal Obamacare, but following their election wins they voted to defeat the measure? A politician seldom changes his/her stripes. Anti-Trump is opposition to the Trump agenda. That opposition will only be worse in the Senate.

On the other hand, we have a clear choice for Sen. Flake’s Senate seat with Dr. Kelli Ward, a proven conservative Republican with impeccable conservative credentials, a person totally behind the president’s agenda. Unlike Schweikert and McSally, she isn’t getting any money from Sen. McConnell’s PAC -- mainly because she IS a conservative and McConnell knows it -- or the Republican National Committee. She relies on grassroots donations, outside of the big national political machines.

Another Arizona Republican who looks like a star to me, and has for years, is Michelle Ugenti-Rita. Michelle has worked hard during her terms in office. She has both authored and stood fast in favor of significant conservative and common-sense legislation. Hers is a record of solid conservative action and support including a recent tax cut she obtained for Arizona citizens. The cuts weren’t included in the Republican budget proposal so she drafted them. Ugenti-Rita then withheld her appropriations vote until her cuts were included in that budget. Michelle is the real deal, representing her constituents and their concerns instead of an unspoken agenda. She does what it takes to provide solid representation for Arizona citizens.
