Studebaker

A few years ago the proposal of a community pool was “floated” around Fountain Hills. The idea didn’t receive much agreement from the town taxpayers so it faded into oblivion like the Edsel, Rambler and Studebaker.

The Studebaker is back but now it is called the “lagoon.” The idea doesn’t seem to be garnering much agreement from the taxpayers so it’s time for it to fade away.

Don’t worry; I’m sure someone with too much time on their hands will resurrect the Studebaker again sometime in the future. After all, it took three times for incorporation to pass and now we have another level of government with employees who have too much time on their hands.
