Summer in the town

We may start to sound like a broken record, but there are two points we would like to make: Keep cool this weekend and if you care about the future of the community, you’ll want to attend Thursday night’s meeting of the Town Council.

As for the council meeting, we’re sure enough heat will be generated to kick off the Friday Extreme Heat Warning.

The Council is being asked to grant a General Plan amendment for the Park Place project that would add 17 dwelling units per acre and increasing the height from three to four stories. Also to be voted on is a development agreement for the overall project.

We ask that you attend this week’s Town Council meeting, listen and express your viewpoint.
