We have been blessed with a tremendously beautiful venue for our annual Easter Resurrection Sunrise Service.
As the sun rises over the mountains, the Fountain is turned on, ducks flying around the lake, believers lift their voices in praise of our Lord’s resurrection. It is an awe-inspiring moment!
This annual service is sponsored by the Fountain Hills Ministerial Association. We believe in the atoning sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in the literal, physical resurrection of Jesus. We are very pleased to come together as a unified body of believers to celebrate His resurrection.

We enthusiastically invite the entire community to join us in the joyous celebration of this life- changing event. The service will start at 6 a.m. We will meet at the amphitheater in the northwest corner of Fountain Park. We invite you to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the Extended Hands Food Bank. You will probably also want to bring a lawn chair and/or blanket to sit on.
Additionally, please be informed that there is also a Sunrise Service for residents of the Verdes, which will be held at 6:30 in the Memorial Garden at the Community Church of the Verdes.
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!
Members of the Fountain Hills Ministerial Association sponsoring the Sunrise Services include: Pastor Don Lawrence, Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills; Rev. Steve Bergeson, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church; Rev. Bill Good and Debbie DeBernardi, Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church; Pastor Todd Forrest, Fountain Hills Christian Center; Deacon John Les Callett, Anglican Church of the Atonement; Deacon Dick Smith, Church of the Ascension; The Rev. Dr. Cathy Northrup, Community Church of the Verdes; and Pastor Tom Daly, Trinity Lutheran Church
