On behalf of VFW Post 7507 I wanted to reach out to thank so many businesses, visitors, sponsors and members for their support over the past several days.

As most know, the VFW here in Fountain Hills is dedicated to supporting our veterans and community.

Two of our major fundraisers occurred over the past week. Our golf tournament was a tremendous success with the help of many of our local businesses who provided support. The golfers had a wonderful time as well as a great meal.

This year’s event was held at Desert Canyon, and yes, we did have a hole in one on the challenging 16th hole.

The Veterans Day Ceremony was one of the best attended ceremonies of the year. Many thanks to all that made this possible and many thanks to those that came out to support our veterans.

Lastly, thank you to all that supported our efforts at the Beer Garden at this year’s fair this past weekend. Although the weather was a bit challenging, the efforts of our members came shining through. Thank you to all of the volunteers!

In closing, please help us support our veterans by recognizing them and just give them a hello and thank them for their service. It means so much to them.
