The plan for Adero Canyon is the most exciting project I have seen come along in a long time.
It’s exciting because it makes good sense to attract more people to our town and to mix housing diversity in a well-balanced and beautiful plan. It not only creatively solves the problem of access to the mountain preserve, it adds an additional 1.5 mile public greenbelt trail through the development linking CopperWynd to the trailhead and adds a bicycle path connection between Eagle Ridge Drive to Hidden Hills.
MCO will solve issues for both Fountain Hills and Scottsdale residents, will enhance our quality of life, and will put our businesses and our town government on more solid financial footing.

The recent announcements of some Fountain Hills business closures highlight the need for growth. The new Adero Canyon plan is exactly the shot-in-the-arm our town needs to put us back into economic growth with shoppers in our stores, visitors in our hotels, children in our schools and patrons in our wonderful parks and natural outdoor environs. It’s a no-brainer. I support the re-zoning of Adero Canyon!
