Victor Hugo stated a long time ago, “He who opens a school door, closes a prison.” There are many issues in today’s world, mass murders, gangs, drugs, teenage pregnancies, immigration, and government debt, to name a few.

Many politicians have offered multiple solutions. What could possibly solve more of tomorrow’s issue than providing our youth with an excellent education and a nurturing, caring path to adulthood?

Jails, punishment, welfare, and increased police protection are all government expenditures that come too late.

Support youth

Victor Hugo stated a long time ago, “He who opens a school door, closes a prison.” There are many issues in today’s world, mass murders, gangs, drugs, teenage pregnancies, immigration, and government debt, to name a few.

Many politicians have offered multiple solutions. What could possibly solve more of tomorrow’s issue than providing our youth with an excellent education and a nurturing, caring path to adulthood?

Jails, punishment, welfare, and increased police protection are all government expenditures that come too late.

Educating our youth, providing them a safe environment to grow up in, and teaching them to be responsible young adults are the ways to improve our future.

So please, if you can’t do more to help our kids’ future, at least agree to spend less than $3 a month in property taxes, and vote yes/yes on the Fountain Hills school bond and override initiatives.
