The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the help of the public in locating a suspect involved in a theft incident in Fountain Hills Tuesday, April 22.

At approximately 8:25 p.m., at the Fountain Hills Comfort Inn, 17105 E. Shea Blvd., an unknown male suspect stole a piece of luggage out of a vehicle that was parked in front of the hotel. Inside the luggage was a Target bag containing clothes and items that had just been purchased from Target earlier that day.

About 15 minutes later the unknown suspect walked into the Target store in Fountain Hills and attempted to return the stolen items.

This suspect is wanted for a class two felony for trafficking stolen property.

He is a male in his 20s, with short dark hair and sideburns. He is believed to be 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches, and weighing approximately 250 to 300 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black, short sleeved T-shirt with red writing on the front. He was also wearing black basketball type shorts with white stripes and black and white sneakers.
