Sylvia Taylor, 84, passed away on May 26, 2016 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born Feb. 3, 1932 in Hartlepool, England to Christopher and Mary Ellen Walker, Sylvia married Anthony Taylor at St. Paul’s Parish Church, Hartlepool on March 30, 1953. She moved to Minneapolis, Minn. with her husband, Tony, in 1964.

She worked in banking for many years and was with the Salt River Project until she retired in 1989, when she and Tony moved to Fountain Hills.
