The Fountain Hills Target store has re-opened after a bomb scare forced an evacuation Friday morning.
The store was cleared of customers and employees at around 8:40 a.m. Friday after the store received a call from a male saying there was a bomb inside.
Sheriff’s deputies were called and secured the building until K-9 deputies arrived to sweep the building for possible explosives.
The dogs completed their sweep and gave the "all clear" for the store just before 11 a.m.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Roger Bierwalter said the store had fired an employee Friday morning, but there is nothing else to indicate suspicion in the incident.
