Twenty-six years ago, I moved to an unincorporated area and was helpful in gathering over 100 signatures to help towards incorporation of Fountain Hills.
Over those years I was sometimes gratified and sometimes mortified.
During those years I witnessed, as evidenced, at least nine separate events where this town was embroiled in legal mistakes.

And now the town is considering requesting a tax referendum? Why? When a series of successive town councils continued to squander income, what cheek! “Throw the bums out.”
In one minor example, the council spent approximately $45,000 to redo the town’s website. Why was a redo necessary? Inadequacy!
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and each time expecting a different outcome.
Anyone who votes for a local tax, which has failed twice before, will still have the same spendthrift masters of ineptitude.
Again, throw the bums out and put in some thinking fourth grade school children and maybe your money will be husbanded.
