In recent years, veterans’ issues have been the topic of much news and discussion. Our military veterans made sacrifices to defend our country and we owe them our sincere gratitude and the fulfillment of all commitments and promises to which they are due.

Another issue which continues to warrant attention is the economy and the related topics of jobs, regulation and government spending. The continuing mission of Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party is to provide convenient local access to speakers and education on issues of interest relating to government, politics and other vital matters - such as veterans’ issues and the economy.

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party will welcome Matt Dobson from Concerned Veterans for America. Matt, an Army veteran, will discuss current veterans’ issues and what we can do to help address them. We will also welcome Chalon Hutson, Field Director of Americans for Prosperity, an organization working to educate the public and influence government on matters which affect the economy and our personal pursuit of prosperity.

Both Matt and Chalon will provide ample opportunity for Q&A as part of their presentations. The meeting will be held at the Fountain Hills Unified School District Learning Center, at the corner of Golden Eagle and Palisades, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Feb. 21.

As always, we welcome all interested parties to attend the meeting, participate and ask questions. Admission is still free, but donations to cover expenses are gratefully accepted and appreciated. Come listen, learn, ask, bring a friend. We hope to see you there!
