The next meeting of Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Unified School District Learning Center.

This month, Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party will welcome Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery. Bill will address several topics of interest but will focus on an important ballot measure in the November election, Proposition 205.

Prop 205 attempts to legalize “recreational” marijuana in AZ. In other states where this has been done, it has created unintended consequences and has led to increased traffic accidents, increased emergency room visits, increased teen use of marijuana, and poisonings in children from edible forms of the drug.

Bill is well-versed in the various adverse outcomes which would occur with passage of Prop 205. We need to be well educated on this issue which affects our health and safety. There will be ample opportunity for the audience to ask questions and get answers.
