Teach morality

Ever since the tragic massacre in Las Vegas, the papers and news have been totting additional legislation for gun controls.

Good, but not the problem. Never has there been a report of a “gun” loading itself; standing up on its stock; and firing rounds all by itself! Therefore additional gun control legislation is NOT going to solve the problem.

The problem is one of “Morality.” A person’s morality cannot be legislated. If you try, all it will accomplish is to deny the people their freedoms and enslave them in bureaucratic red tape.

Morality MUST come from within. It has to be taught from infancy and passed down from generation to generation. Perhaps the local ministerial association can come together and develop a program to teach morality to all members of their congregations and perhaps even pass the program up to the individual churches’ conferences.

This program should be inclusive of ALL and also eliminate the confusion between morality and genetics. Thank you!
