Teacher suspended pending formal hearing before board
The School Board voted Monday night to suspend teacher Pam Aister, with pay, pending an upcoming hearing to determine if she should be dismissed or possibly face other disciplinary measures.
The board action stemmed from Aister’s potential involvement in an unspecified incident during the 2013-14 school year.
After an executive session, the board voted to appoint a hearing officer for a certified employee dismissal proceeding, determining that there was enough information to consider suspension, dismissal or administrative leave for Aister.
