Fountain Hills teens can participate in the upcoming “Make A Difference Day” with a program at the local branch library.
The library conference room will be set up during fall break, Monday through Friday, Oct. 10-14, for a “blanket bee.” Teens can come to library each day from 1 to 3 p.m. to work on blankets for Project Linus.
Students will be squaring fleece material, rounding corners, cutting strips and hole-bunching fabric for ties or crochet edging. All completed blankets will be donated to Project Linus, which will provide homemade blankets to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need.
