The Town Council approved the tentative budget for the 2013-14 fiscal year without further comment Thursday evening.
The proposed budget plan totals $41.7 million including a $13.1 General Fund budget for day-to-day operations and $19.2 million in the Capital Projects Fund.
Debt service and special revenue funds make up the difference.
With the approval of a preliminary budget the total is capped. The council cannot increase the total, but may make cuts, before final approval of the budget scheduled for June 6.
