I want to publicly thank our District 23 legislators for their efforts in support of public education during the last legislative session.

Senator John Kavanagh, Representative Jay Lawrence and Representative Michelle Ugenti-Rita took the necessary time to listen to the needs of the school district and support a budget that helped provide needed funding not just to FHUSD, but to public school districts throughout the state.

I appreciate the difficult work in which they engage during the legislative session and look forward to continued collaboration in the future.
