Thank you

The Primary Election results are now certified and a very appreciative “thank you” is offered to all of you in Golden Eagle Precinct who voted to elect/re-elect Judy and me, along with Lar Schmit, Ron Smith, Effie Gross, Evelyn Munn, Charlene Dill, Terri Huffman, Bill Bovinette, Bob Dill and Bob Deppe as Republican Party Precinct Committeemen.

We are grateful for your support and for the privilege to continue fighting for conservative principles in the Republican Party. The November election will soon be upon us with early ballots due to arrive about Oct. 9. Make sure you take advantage of every available opportunity to research the candidates, learn about the issues, and vote. Please contact us with your questions or comments.

Speaking of every available opportunity, the next meeting of Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party on Tuesday, Sept. 16, will feature former State Representative Jonathan Paton, who will enlighten us about Yes on 122. Prop 122 is an attempt to amend the Arizona Constitution and resist efforts by the federal government to mandate the implementation of programs but have the state’s taxpayers (us) pay for them.

Now that the primaries are over, we have a Republican and a Democrat running to be our next State Senator. Representative John Kavanagh (R) will join in a forum with Paula Pennypacker (D). This promises to be a lively exchange of ideas and plans for the State Senate.

Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party (www.fhteaparty.org) will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fountain Hills School District Learning Center (northeast corner of Palisades Blvd. and Golden Eagle Blvd.). Admission is free. Donations to offset expenses are gratefully welcomed. All interested parties are welcome to come, listen, learn, ask questions, and bring a friend.

We hope to see you there!
