Thanks, Denise!

Denise, our UPS delivery professional extraordinaire, has served many of our Fountain Hills neighborhoods for many years. Unfortunately for us – although fortunately for her – she will be retiring at the end of May.

A brief story will illustrate how exceptional she is. Several years ago, just before Christmas, we moved from one home in Fountain Hills to a new one. About 7 p.m. one dark evening, our doorbell rang and there she stood with a package that had been sent to our previous address. We were surprised to see her since we were no longer on her delivery route. Instead of returning it to UPS or the sender, she had waited until the end of her long, hard day of Christmas deliveries and, knowing our new address, had taken the time to deliver it to us directly. We were amazed and delighted at her thoughtfulness and extra effort!

Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience. If you have, you probably agree that Denise certainly deserves special thanks for her years of exceptional service. So be sure to thank her in person when you see her (or with a note of appreciation) before she retires at the end of May.
