I would like to reach out and thank “Coop” the manager, the staff and Denny’s Restaurant on behalf of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7507 here in Fountain Hills. On President’s Day, Denny’s Restaurant held a fundraiser to assist our veterans and our Post’s efforts.

The staff was extremely friendly, not rushing anyone and willing to help out in every way. Many of our local Veterans attended, as well as many members of our community. As usual, the food was served by the friendly staff and was consumed with many smiles by all of those that attended.

It is through the efforts of our local businesses and the efforts of our volunteer staff of veterans that we are able to assist and serve our veterans.

Thank you to the entire staff at Denny’s for the invitation to come back on Friday, March 4, for another fundraising day of enjoyment and food.

Denny’s will again be contributing 20 percent from 11a.m. until 9 p.m. on that day. Plan on attending.

Keep in mind that this is lent and Coop has told me that he will be having fish and chips in great quantities! Thank you again.
