Theft, vehicle collisions lead Sheriff Office’s report in Fountain Hills

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Dec. 4 to Dec. 10.

Thursday, Dec. 4 

*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of N. Saguaro Blvd were a violation of a court order was reported.

Theft, vehicle collisions lead Sheriff Office’s report in Fountain Hills

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Dec. 4 to Dec. 10.

Thursday, Dec. 4 

*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of N. Saguaro Blvd were a violation of a court order was reported.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Palisades Blvd. where it was reported a private property traffic collision occurred after a vehicle suffered a mechanical issue and struck another vehicle in a parking lot. No injuries were reported.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of E. Shea Blvd. wher it was reported two unknown subjects shoplifted items from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Heather Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.

Friday, Dec. 5

*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of N. Saguaro Blvd. where a rental vehicle that had been reported stolen was returned by the renter late.

*Deputies responded to Palisades Boulevard and Sunflower Drive where it was reported a single-vehicle traffic collision occurred when a vehicle swerved to avoid wildlife in the roadway and struck a raised center median. No injuries were reported, the vehicle was towed.

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and El Lago boulevards where it was reported a single-vehicle traffic collision occurred when a vehicle swerved to avoid a vehicle slowing in the roadway and struck a street sign and raised center median. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

Saturday, Dec. 6

*Deputies responded to Saguaro and Grande boulevard where it was reported a driver was stopped for doing donuts in the intersection. The driver was issued a criminal citation for reckless driving and released.

Sunday, Dec. 7

*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of N. Saguaro Blvd. where it was reported that the complainant was assaulted by a subject after a verbal altercation outside of a convenience store.

Monday, Dec. 8

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Avenue of the Fountains where it was reported an unknown subject stole a wallet out of the complainant’s purse while it was left unattended at a business.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of N. Silverado Drive where it was reported an unknown subject entered the victim’s vehicle without permission and stole multiple tools while it was parked on the street in front of a residence. The vehicle was left unlocked at the time of the theft.

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Pepperwood Circle where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a driver failed to control their vehicle to avoid a collision and rear ended another vehicle slowing in traffic. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

*Deputies responded to Hampstead Drive and Palisades Boulevard where it was reported a traffic collision occurred when a vehicle reportedly malfunctioned, stopped in the roadway and began reversing without the driver’s input. The vehicle then backed into another vehicle stopped behind it. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of E. Thistle Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject used a businesses information without permission to generate and deposit checks as part of a fraud scheme. The business lost approximately $3,000.
