Thelma A. Comstock, 96, of Fountain Hills passed away on Jan. 7, 2017. She was born to Minnie A. and Wellie J. Mears on May 5, 1920 in Martinsburg, Mo.
She was married to Lester E. Comstock on Feb. 26, 1938, who preceded her in death after 64 years of marriage. Survivors include a son, Thomas W. Comstock (Judith); daughter, Joan A. Tjugum (Kenneth); grandchildren, Suzanne Nelson and Erik Nelson; great grandson, Justin Nelson (Cassidy); sister-in-law, Roberta Comstock and three nieces and two nephews.
Thelma lived at Fountain View Village where she will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Burial will be in Montrose, Iowa with a memorial service on Feb. 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Fountain View Village.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or to the charity of your choice.
