The annual Parade of Thanksgiving Turkey Drive returns for its third year.
Sponsored by the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Turkey Drive provides a much-needed boost to those in need throughout the community, said David Iverson, executive director of the Extended Hands Food Bank.
It’s a big deal for us,” Iverson said, who is gearing up for the big day with a ready crew of volunteers, large cardboard boxes and space in the freezer for storage. Whatever is left over Iverson says is given out to families for Christmas.
