As a long-time resident of Fountain Hills, I have many good reasons to vote to reelect Mayor Linda Kavanagh. But as a military veteran, I have many great reasons.
Mayor Kavanagh is a true friend of veterans and not just prior to Election Day. I go to most veterans’ events and Linda is almost always present, representing the town and showing veterans the respect they have earned.
Tears come to my eyes when she speaks at our event, like the Silver Rose ceremonies honoring veteran victims of Agent Orange or on Veterans’ Day and Pearl Harbor Day.

Mayor Kavanagh is always present at ceremonies at the town’s veteran’s memorial and she is a familiar site at VFW and American Legion events. She also presented a wonderful proclamation supporting the National Guard and their families and can frequently be seen sporting her red shirt on Red Shirt Fridays.
Mayor Kavanagh, because you always “have the back” of us veterans, this Eleaction Day, this vet will have your back.
