Thomas Alan Jensen, 81, passed away June 9, 2026. He was born on Father's Day, June 18, 1944, in Racine, Wisconsin. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Janet Walker Jensen; his 2 daughters; Amy Vance (Patrick), and April Hedrick (Robert); his 6 grandchildren: Sydney and Evan Vance; Noah, Samuel, Benjamin, and Peter Hedrick; and his sister Karen Stratman.
Tom grew up in Racine and went on to receive a Bachelor degree in Industrial Science, and Masters degrees in Industrial Education and Business. He ultimately settled in Cannon Falls, MN where he lived for 27 years before moving to Arizona. He remodeled a 100-year-old farm house and ran a hobby farm. He worked for the St. Paul school district teaching shop and later mathematics. Tom was. a talented woodworker, inventor, and entrepreneur.
in 1999, Tom and Jan retired to Fountain Hills, AZ. He loved his home in the desert and especially enjoyed walking his dog Charlie around the lake and spending time with his beloved wife and family. After honoring his wish for a private time of remembrance, Tom will be interred in Kenosha, WI at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
