I joined the Thursday Art on the Avenue last February. It has been quite successful for me. I carve art from saguaro cactus skeletons; angels, crosses, walking sticks, canes, wall art pieces, statues, nativities, pocket crosses, back scratchers, signs, hat racks and much more.
I carve each Thursday during the entire show 11-5 producing new art for customers to watch develop. Many of my pieces were special orders reacting to a “Could you do….?” Question; I often surprised myself as well as the customer.
We continue to add talented artisans and our weekly group is creating among ourselves friendships. I look forward to Thursdays every week.
