It is time for the House to get to work, pass a budget and raise the debt ceiling now.
Remember that you were elected to govern, not shut down the government. It was dangerously irresponsible of the House to try and link the Affordable Care Act with the routine budget extension in the first place.

For some reason the Tea Party cannot accept the fact that their efforts to circumvent the A.C.A. have failed repeatedly in over 40 attempts. Senator McCain realizes this and has said that this is not the arena in which to battle over Obamacare, which has been the law of the land for several years now.
It is time for the House to address these issues separately and directly. Any conditions regarding the A.C.A. need to be removed immediately so this important legislation can move forward. I fully support the Senate and the President’s refusal to negotiate.
Too many times the Republican- controlled House has attempted to further its agenda by threatening to close down the government. This policy, which has resulted in the sequester and the tendency to govern by crisis every few weeks, cannot be tolerated.
Now is the time for the Tea Party to start acting reasonably. This faction has already cost the GOP a lot of credibility. You may not agree with me, but I strongly believe the Republican Party will pay dearly for these transgressions in the upcoming mid-term elections.
I also believe that the American people will not forget the blathering 21- hour speech that Ted Cruz gave while the wheels of democracy ground to a halt. Hopefully the GOP will ignore any attempt on his part to secure the presidential nomination.
I welcome any response from you either by mail or telephone. In the meantime, get on with it and get something done for a change.
