Time to think about Community Expo

Restaurant owners and caterers can participate in the Chamber of Commerce’s Community Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 25, without an entry fee.

Each year about 75 local Chamber members inform the public about their businesses and services in the one-day event in the Community Center.

Clubs and service organizations that are Chamber members can participate.

Giveaways, samples and drawings for prizes are featured at the individual booths.

Hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The venue is not appropriate for children or pets.

There is no registration fee for food providers because they are asked to prepare samples for at least 750 guests. Food will be available in both the lobby and the ballroon. If interested, contact Sharon at events@fountainhillschamber.com.

Registration is open until Sept. 25. Late registration will be accepted from Sept. 26 to Oct. 6 with a $10 late fee attached to applications.

A limited number of booths will be provided with electricity. Included in the booth fee is a six-foot-long table, two chairs, a table cloth and a sign identifying the business. Vendor fees are premium lobby booth with electricity, $225; ballroom booth, no electricity, $175, and ballroom booth with electricity, $185.
