All Tonto National Forest offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017 for Thanksgiving. Offices will resume normal business hours on Friday, Nov. 24.

In addition, the Tonto National Forest will waive fees to encourage every-one to Get Outside on ‘Black Friday,’ Nov. 24. Fees will be waived at all day-use sites such as picnic grounds, shorelines and boat launches operated by the Tonto National Forest. Concessionaire-operated facilities, camping and campground fees will not be waived.

Forest officials hope this fee-free day provides an incentive for people to Opt Outdoors and visit the nearly 3 million acres of Tonto National Forest’s land held in trust for their enjoyment and use.
