I am honored to have Jerry Miles mention me in his letter to the editor. However, I must respectfully disagree with his assessment that, “God is much too busy….to be concerned about how we deal with our personal and family relationships.” Nothing could be further from the truth!
Our loving Heavenly Father is intimately concerned and very much aware of every detail of our wonderful lives. For example, Jesus said, “The very hairs of your head are all numbered.” Matthew 10:29-30.
The Psalmist certainly understood this. He wrote, “O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.” He later added, “For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:1-4 & 13. Let us not forget that Jesus Christ is the “Fullness of Deity in bodily form.” Colossians 2:9.

Jesus promised, “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20.
Why would the Creator of all creation be so intimately concerned and aware of every minute detail of our lives? Because of His great love for us! As the Apostle John wrote, “God is love.” 1 John 4:16. It is because of this incredible love that He has provided the gift of salvation for us. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.
The fact is, God is not “much too busy,” nor is He too preoccupied or too far removed to be lovingly attentive to every aspect of your life.
