Too late

Last week our U.S. Congress representative, David Schweikert, voted for John Boehner for Speaker of the House, assuring that the voters’ mandate of 2014 was yet another exercise in futility and confirming that while he talks like a conservative he’s just another spineless opportunist.

It is way too late in the game for this crap, folks.

For 50 years I have heard Republicans asking for my vote, promising to undo the socialist and fascist advances by Democrats. They never do. They never will.

For 50 years I have heard Republicans asking for my vote, promising to undo the socialist and fascist advances by Democrats. They never do. They never will.

They can’t even effectively oppose a president who treats the Constitution like toilet paper.

I no longer believe the system can be reformed. I will no longer vote for Schweikert or any other Republican. I will instead prepare myself and my loved ones for the inevitable collapse of the existing rotted social order.

Perhaps all to the good: The sooner it comes, the sooner patriots can begin to rebuild.

Now I know how the Romans of the 5th century felt.
