Having recently been getting a lot of “blue screen” on my beloved computer, I was told to get a new one as that is the kiss of death for a laptop.

All I could find was laptops with Windows 8, and knowing the struggles I had with Windows 7, I really dreaded learning a new system. I found a laptop with 7 and bought it.

Still, I missed the old laptop and saw that Fountain Hills Computer Services offered a free diagnosis for computer repair. I dropped the old laptop off at 9:30 a.m. and got a call at 1 p.m. saying my laptop had a corrupt file, they could delete it, reload the most current version, run diagnostics, and that would fix it...the charge was $30...what a deal!

They asked me to pick it up after 4 p.m. so they could observe it and make sure the problem was fixed...this business is a real asset to our little town...let’s hope they can make it with such an inexpensive fee structure.
