Through your vote in the Republic Rewards Program, you can help our Noon Kiwanis Club realize our Centennial Project goal of replacing the tot lot playground equipment at Golden Eagle Park.

Our Kiwanis motto is “Serving the children of the world” and demonstrates how we partner with town government to improve the lives of children and enhance safe and secure outdoor play activities for young children in our community.

The new Tot Lot would replace the original equipment installed years ago at Golden Eagle Park, which is showing its age and has suffered several broken parts needing replacement by park staff due to safety concerns.

The new play area and structure, designed for 2-5 year olds, would be installed utilizing a “community build” in cooperation with the town staff and certified personnel from Landscape Structures, as well as volunteers from the Noon Kiwanis Club and other citizens. The project would also provide a safer surface than the present sand base.

The project cost is estimated to be just under $40,000. We are appealing to customers of Republic Services to vote your points toward our Tot Lot Playground Project so that we may realize our Centennial goal and install the equipment before the end of 2015.

You can use any points collected for recycling and designate them for our Tot Lot Project through July 31 after registering with the Republic Rewards Program at www.republicgivesback.com.

Simply being a Republic customer is only the first step in the process.

Our Noon Kiwanis Club can really use your help! This project would greatly benefit hundreds of families and children who visit Golden Eagle Park throughout the year, enhancing their safety and public enjoyment of municipal play facilities. Help us celebrate Kiwanis’ 100th anniversary by registering and voting to help our kids!
