The washes that snake through Fountain Hills provide a wildland open space atmosphere but also create concerns surrounding potential flood and fire danger.
The town council has voted unanimously to expand its professional services agreement with Top Leaf Tree Services to enhance the work the company does in town.
Town Public Works Director Justin Weldy reminded the council that the town’s agreement with Top Leaf was not to exceed $210,000 annually for dam, drainage parcel and wash maintenance. He said the company has competitive pricing, proven experience and quality service.
