At its Oct. 15 regular session, the Fountain Hills Town Council heard an update on the status of capital improvement projects approved for the 2024/2025 fiscal year budget.
Community Services Director Kevin Snipes and Public Works Director Justin Weldy outlined the progress to date on the projects they are overseeing in their departments.
Snipes said a plan to replace playground equipment at Golden Eagle Park is currently in design with a $150,000 expenditure. This is the playground for younger children which is deteriorating with age and has experienced some damage from vandalism.
