At the Oct. 1 regular session of the Fountain Hills Town Council, Paul Soldinger, finance director for the town brought the council up to date on the fiscal situation for the end of FY 2023/2024 as well as the numbers for the final quarter of the year.
Soldinger reported there was a mix of positive and negative news, but overall the revenue numbers are fairly consistent, and the town is in good fiscal health.
For the fourth quarter of the fiscal year just past, April through June, the town had total net taxable activity of $194,261,920. While this was a decrease by about $23 million from FY23 it was more that $20 million over the fourth quarter in FY22. The total net taxable income for the entire fiscal year totaled $735,607,741.
