Town Council meets Thursday

The Town Council will have its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday evening, Sept. 17, at Town Hall.
It starts at 6:30 p.m.
Probably the most controversial item will be the consideration of a contract with American Metering Services to implement the environmental fee of $3 monthly per parcel in town.
Council also will likely appoint three Planning and Zoning commissioners and discuss the possibility of creating a Sister Cities Commission.
There also will be several presentations made regarding economic development issues in town.
