Town Council meets Tuesday this week

The Town Council will consider a contract with Blucor Contracting in the amount of $2,162,956 for construction of the Preserve trailhead at Adero Canyon.

The trailhead has been part of the plan for the Preserve since it was established more than two decades ago.

The council will also consider the award of a contract with Christmas Light Decorators in an amount not to exceed $50,000 annually. The agreement includes four one-year renewal options for a total of $250,000.

Town Council meets Tuesday this week

The Town Council will consider a contract with Blucor Contracting in the amount of $2,162,956 for construction of the Preserve trailhead at Adero Canyon.

The trailhead has been part of the plan for the Preserve since it was established more than two decades ago.

The council will also consider the award of a contract with Christmas Light Decorators in an amount not to exceed $50,000 annually. The agreement includes four one-year renewal options for a total of $250,000.

The council agenda also includes a cooperative purchase agreement with Riddle Paintings and Coatings in the amount of $189,108 for painting of the buildings in the Civic Plaza.

There is also an item set for council discussion and possible direction to staff regarding legal services for the town.

Mayor Linda Kavanagh has four proclamations prepared for October that will be read into the record at Tuesday’s meeting: Make a Difference Day (Oct. 28), Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Friends of the Library Week (Oct. 15-21) and Arizona Cities and Towns week (Oct. 15-21).

The Town Council will meet Tuesday, Oct. 3, in council chambers at Town Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m.
