The Fountain Hills Town Council will consider a couple of actions related to the future of development in the downtown area when it meets Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Development Services Director John Wesley is presenting the staff proposal for an amended downtown overlay district, which combines two previously established overlays as well as extends the area to north of Palisades Boulevard to include an Innovation District.
Parking and residential uses have been a couple of the issues being addressed by the overlay plan. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend council approval.
