The Town of Fountain Hills has several upcoming programs in which  community adults and teens are invited to participate.

A Teen Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held Tuesday, March 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Four Peaks Park ballfields.

This is for ages 13 to 17, and there is no cost to participate. The top teams will win prizes, and there will be snacks, drinks and all equipment provided. Register as a team or individual.

The award-winning Return to Recess began Feb. 13 and continues each Tuesday for seven weeks through April 2.

The town’s Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with multiple community groups to bring youth ages 8 to 14 a program that teaches a new sport each week.

Each participant will receive a Return to Recess T-shirt. The program concludes with a pizza party. There is a cost of $40 to participate. Location will change with activity.

Seeing the success of the youth program, an Adults Return to Recess program has been developed. There is a new active, but not too active, game each week. All those registered will receive a program shirt. There is also a drop-in to allow people to choose what activities they want to participate in for $10 each week. The cost for all activities is $45.

Adult Return to Recess is for those 21 years of age and older and takes place on Thursdays, Feb. 22, through March 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Location will change with activity.

There are also Teen Adventure Trips on the schedule this spring. Each trip includes transportation (bus), entry to activity and a meal. There is a special of buy two trips and get one free. The cost is $50 per trip. The schedule includes Saturday, Feb. 24, from 12 to 5 p.m. – Diamondbacks Spring Training; Friday, March 29, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Main Event; Friday, April 12, 5 to 9 a.m. – Bam Kazam, and Friday, May 10, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. – Fat Cats Bowling. Teen adventure trips are for those ages 13 to 17.

Registration for all these activities is done online at fountainhillsaz.gov/REC.
