Town of Fountain Hills makes English official language

Resolution passes on 5-2 vote

The Town of Foutain Hills has now made English its official language for business transition with approval of a resolution to codify a presidential executive order making English the official language of the United States.

The vote was 5-2 in support of the resolution, with council members Brenda Kalivianakis and Peggy McMahon dissenting.

Vice Mayor Allen Skillicorn proposed the resolution and it was brought to the agenda with the support of council members Gayle Earle and Hannah Larrabee.
